The Apostrophe Blog
A few days after my last post, an illegal war of impulsive, mercurial volition was launched on the country of Iran by the mob boss who currently inhabits the White House. So many hours in the days of these past few weeks trying to find a way to make sense of the ongoing madness, to hold onto some kind of sanity in spite of the 24/7 mayhem. Words too often do not seem to work, to help in these liminal moments. So, yesterday, March 28th, it was good to get out and march the streets and bridges of downtown Portland, Oregon with at least 30,000 other like-minded souls as park of No Kings 3. It buoys the spirit in these dispiriting times to find oneself in community. For march we must, as March marches toward its 2026 end. Frogs Together Strong!
